Modeled by Homer Laughlin China Company during the spring of 1937, the Fiesta Kitchen Kraft line is made up of nearly twenty pieces. Originally produced only in ivory with decals applied it wasn't long after it's original debut that Fiesta Kitchen Kraft began to be dipped in the original fiesta colors of red, yellow, blue and green. Introduced in Chicago and Pittsburgh in January of 1938 Fiesta Kitchen Kraft was praised for it's parade of color, high degree of practical utility, sturdiness and durability, all in a graceful, modern shape. Highly desirable by advanced Fiesta pottery collectors, here you will find a selection of hand picked Fiesta Kitchen Kraft from my collection available for you to enjoy.

The Kitchen Kraft mixing bowls were used for sevel solid color tableware lines, including Harlequin, Jubilee, and Rhythm. They were made in three sizes (a 10" large, 8" medium and 6" small) which nested together with a generous amount of room between bowls. The bowls must have been a popular item to use inthe kitchen since they are more often than not quite damaged and used. Finding them in excellent, collector quality condition is a hard task.

The Kitchen Kraft covered jugs underwent a confusing number of revisions and following their history in the Homer Laughlin modeling logs is a dizzying endeavor. Ultimately two sizes were produced, the large version (measuring just shy of 6" tall) and a medium sized version which stands 5 1/2" tall. The larger size was modeled first and was in production between July of 1937 and Febuary of 1938 when it was replaced with the medium sized version. The larger jug has a single step flange on it's lid while the smaller jug has both a thicker lid and a distinctive two step flange under the lid. Both versions can be considered hard to find in any size or color.
Circa July 1937-Febuary 1938: Large Size— The Fiesta Kitchen Kraft line only has four lidded items to collect, with most of them coming in different sizes. The covered jug was made in two sizes, with the large example only being in production for a few short months!

For Sale: $ 485 445
Circa 1938-1942: The red lid was the standard piece designed to go with a set of three stacking units. With the red glaze being more expensive to produce it would make sense to use the smallest piece from the masterful set for the expensive red glaze.
