Circa 1938-1944: Oval Platter— Modeled in the spring of 1937 for the Royal Metal Manufacturing Co. out of Chicago, the Homer Laughlin Pottery Company's oval platter measures a large 13 1/16" long. Dipped in the original four fiesta colors of red, yellow, green and cobalt and made on the ram press, unmarked but sold originally with the paper label. The Vintage Fiesta Kitchen Kraft oval platters are hard to find, especially in excellent condition without signs of use, such as this example in the original Fiesta yellow glaze.
