Circa 1938-1942: Large stove top range shakers were a popular part of the American kitchen during the 1930s and 1940s. Significantly larger than a standard tabletop pair of salt and pepper shakers, the fiesta kitchen kraft range shakers do not disappoint with their large presence. This example in original red is a true set, with larger holes for the salt than the pepper. Similar in design to the great ball jars, the shaker is decorated with a subtle set of concentric rings around the top. They were slip cast in a mold with the seams smoothed by hand and then the six hex patterned holes were hand punched into the clay body. Dipped in the four vintage fiesta colors, they make a great additon to the collection, adding a playful sense of an oversized miniature into your ensembles. Harder to find than you would expect, this pair in the original fiesta red is in very nice condition, please note one shaker as wear to the top which shows as dullness and fine scratches, discounte accordingly. Fiesta Kitchen Kraft range shakers are much larger than their Fiesta counterpart, standing nearly 3" tall and 3 1/4" wide.
