Circa 1938-1942: With only 21 items in the fiesta kitchen kraft line, the covered jars are one of the highlights. Available in small, medium or large, all are hard to find and scarce in excellent condition. These ball jars (or cookie jars) were slip cast with the seams being smoothed by hand. The lids were hand shaped and can vary in quality of fit. This example of the large jar in red is in excellent condition showing little to no signs of use, a few glaze pops are all that are found on this excellent piece. Wonderfully marked on the bottom. Measures 7 1/10" tall x 8" across.
