Designed in the Spring of 1937, this wide and shallow bowl was originally referred to as "the salad nappie" and was to go along with the fork and spoon from the OvenServe/Kitchen Kraft line as part of a three piece salad set. Ultimately the bowl was folded into the fiestaware line and inside rings were added and an impressed in the mold mark "fiesta HLC USA". This piece is hard to find without signs of use or damage and measures an impressive 11 5/16" wide by 3" tall. Discountinued in 1946 and found in the first six original colors only, with red produced for only 4 short years.
