Vintage Fiesta Bulb and Tripod Candleholders | Circa 1936-1946

Homer Laughlin released two types of candle holders for their fiestaware line, bulb and tripods. The tripod version was modeled four months before the bulb set, but both were part of the initial release in 1936. The tripods were not big sellers and were discontinued when red was no longer available, by the end of 1942. The bulbs continued to be made until the end of 1946. Both are great items to add variety and flare to your collection, with the tripods being very hard to find.

Vintage Fiestaware Tripod Candle Holders

The vintage fiesta tripod candle holders are in a class all by themselves. Constructed from a complex four part mold, the three supports would have to be attatched to the base by hand. Not a big seller, Homer Laughlin discontinued the tripods early on, by the end of 1942 when the red glaze was also withdrawn. Finding any is a rare treat and especially in exeptional condition as these matching pairs are.
