Circa 1936-1946: The bulb candle holders are another one of those rare treats that expands outside the dinnerware line to accessorize the art of the table. Playing on the bulbous form (like that found in the mustard, marmalade and ice lip pitcher). Most version will be marked in the mold on the bases underside edges. Kind of tricky to locate, but inside the bottom edge you can see fiesta in script and HLCo USA indented on another side. Charming scrolled feet hold the simple bulb shape which is further adorned by concentric rings along the top. This example, in the harder to find cobalt version, is in excellent shape with bold color and no damage — sure to please! Measures 3 3/4"h x 3"w.
