Circa 1938-1940: Designed by Fredick Rhead for Woolworths, Harlequin Pottery is a wonderfully inspired American pottery from the late 1930s. Harlequin syrups were produced for as little as 18 months and are extremely hard to find in any color. It is found only in yellow, blue, spruce and red. This example is in very good condition, with a small old chip near the base that can't be seen when the syrup is upright (shown in the first photo). It has been drastically reduced accordingly. Boasting a dripcut, marked lid, and a brilliant Harlequin yellow glaze, this is a great opportunity to add an extremely rare piece to your collection. Measures nearly 6" tall by 3 1/2" wide.
