Circa 1936-1946: The ice lip pitcher gets its name from the lip that bridges the spout, designed to keep ice from falling into your glass. Only made for ten years in the first six original colors, hand work would have involved attaching the separately cast handle to the body, flaring out the foot and adding the decorative concentric bands of rings on a jiggering machine. Holds nearly 64 ounces. This example in the original green colored glaze is in excellent condition without damage or signs of use. Measures . Marked in the mold on the bottom "fiesta HLCo, USA".
