Circa 1939-1940: The Harlequin novelty creamer is basically a miniature version of the Harlequin ball jug, just with the band of concentric rings moved up from the base to the belly instead. One of the few pieces Homer Laughlin produced that could be considered a miniature. Although the novelty creamer is found in all twelve Harlequin colors it was only made in the spruce green colored glaze for about a year, making this example scarce. It is in excellent condition with no damage. Measures nearly 5" tall, x 5" wide.
