Circa 1959-1969: Designed in 1939, but not produced for thirty years, the Fiesta individual salad bowl with its abundance of inside, out and bottom rings is one of the best bowls in the fiestware line. Many collectors of Homer Laughlin Pottery will recognize this bowl with the rings removed from the inside and produced as the Harlequin Individual Salad Bowl. It's amazing what all those extra rings can do to a design. And the individual salad will easily become one of your favorite pieces. This example in red is in good condition. It shows light use, but no chips or cracks or signs of abuse. Marked in the mold "GENUINE fiesta HLCo USA". Produced only in the colors of the 60s - red, medium green, turquoise and yellow. Inside rings formed on an automatic jigger machine, outside molded, most are ink stamped, this example is nicely embossed. Measures 7 5/8" x 2 3/8".
