Circa 1940-1941: Designed by Fredick Rhead for Woolworths, Harlequin Pottery is a wonderfully inspired American pottery from the late 1930s. Harlequin syrups were produced for as little as 18 months and are extremely hard to find in any color. It is found only in yellow, blue, spruce and red. The vintage Harlequin syrup pitcher is one of the top hardest pieces to find in the entire pottery line, made in limited quantities and for such a short time it is a wonder to find any at all today and this example is pristine and will thrill the collector. Examples should have the drip-cut lid, as this one does, and will stand nearly 6" tall by 3 1/2" wide.
