Circa 1936-1951: Originally thought of as a fruit bowl by designer Frederick Rhead, the dessert bowl, as it would be called , was covered with the famous Vintage Fiesta rings, both inside and out. Formed both in the mold and by hand, rings would have been etched into the bottom one by one on the jiggering machine. It was this kind of hand work that brings so much variation to the Vintage Fiesta pottery line. This ivory example is in very good condition with nice even glaze, clean and no sign of use. Marked in the mold on the bottom: "fiesta MADE IN USA HLCo". Measures 6 3/16" w x 1 9/16" tall.
