Circa 1936-1951: Originally thought of as a fruit bowl by designer Frederick Rhead, the dessert bowl, as it would be called , is covered with the famous Vintage Fiesta rings, both inside and out. Formed both in the mold and by hand, rings would have been etched onto the inside bottom one by one on the jiggering machine. It was this kind of hand work that brings so much variation to the Vintage Fiesta pottery line. This original Fiesta blue example is in excellent condition with nice even glaze, without damage and just the lightest sign of use. Marked in the mold on the bottom: "fiesta MADE IN USA HLCo". Measures 6 3/16" w x 1 9/16" tall.
