Circa 1938-1940: The yellow Riviera juice pitcher was the standard color used for this ensemble, but is still hard to find today. Riviera was made in vastly lower quantities than its Fiesta and Harlequin counterparts and will taunt the hunting collector with its scarcity. Enjoy it while it's available because soon there will be little left to go around. This pitcher is in excellent condition and is guaranteed to please the collector, showing no use and excellent glaze coverage with the only mishap on the bottom in a lighter spot, note also the quality controllers ID stamp number on the bottom, a neat little attribute found only on the earlier pottery when individual pieces would be stamped and approved as first quality. Imagine pottery today receiving this attention one piece at a time!
