Circa 1936-1959: Eventually the Harlequin dinnerware line would have many different serving bowls, but the deep plate was the original one designed in the fall of 1936 and released for the tableware lines introduction along with 15 other shapes. The yellow glaze outlasted all others and remained popular until the line was discontinued. This example of the Harlequin deep plate is in excellent collector quality condition without signs of use or damage and an excellent application of the glaze. Unmarked as all original vintage Harlequin was. Measures 8 1/2" wide x 1 1/2" tall.
