Circa 1940-1965: The Harlequin pottery line is more utilitarian than showy so finding the larger holloware pieces like the teapot is a treat. The Harlequin teapot has all the bells and whistles, from the large conical shaped body, the the exaggerated triangular handles to its multitude of bands of concentric rings. This example in the 1940s released turquoise glaze is in excellent condition, without damage or signs of use. Please note the glaze has a little mottling on the top of the body, but it's the rich and vibrant robins egg blue that is most desirable. Measures an impressive 10" wide and a little over 6" tall.
