Circa 1938-1951: The mauve color can be found on the Harlequin and Riviera solid dinnerware lines and was one of the original four colors released. It is a sophisticated color with subtle purple undertones to it's blue cast, probably how it got the nickname of mauve, but it was released as the "Blue" for the Harlequin line. It makes a great statement on the bold shape of the Harlequin teapot. This example is in excellent condition without damage or signs of use. Measures an impressive 10" wide and a little over 6" tall.
