Circa 1937-1938: The turquoise fiesta nesting bowls would be made for even less time than the other first five original colors since turquoise wasn't part of the initial release in 1936. Turquoise began production after the first year when it was obvious the vibrant solid colored tableware was going to be wildly popular. This example is marked on the bottom, embossed from in the mold, "fiesta HLC USA 2", and has the coveted inside bottom rings. This bowl is in excellent condition and shows no sign of use. Please note some in the making factory sand bumps on the inside bottom of the bowl. The rim has no chips at all and the outside and inside are free from scratches. The glaze is beautifully even without irregularities. Measures 5 7/8" w x 3 15/16h"
