Circa 1937-1946: The larger vegetable bowl was designed after the smaller version and is over 30% larger. Manufactured for 9 years in the turquoise colored glaze, bowls will be fully glazed on the bottom and marked with the Homer Laughlin logo "HL" followed by "fiesta MADE IN U.S.A.". This example is in excellent, as made condition without any signs of use or wear and no damage or scratches. Please note some glaze irregularity, a little on the rim and some underneath, all in the making as these early bowls were hand dipped at the factory. Nicely marked with an exceptionally crisp in the mold embossed marking and well defined, hand-etched rings around the bottom and outside. Measures a generous 9 1/2" wide x 3 1/8" tall.
