Circa 1938-1942: The brilliant robin's egg blue turquoise fiesta color has remained one of the most popular glazes since its introduction in 1937. So popular that it stayed in production through the 1960s and then was reintroduced on today's contemporary tableware. To finish of your fiesta nesting bowl set with the vibrant and cheerful turquoise number one bowl makes a dramatic statement. This example, in the original turquoise glaze, is in excellent condition with a nice even glaze and a smooth inside and out without scratches. Please note that there is in the making glaze. The bowl is nicely marked on the bottom: "HL fiesta MADE IN U.S.A" and inscribed with a "1". The number one bowls are very hard to find and along with the large number sevens will be the most difficult to locate to complete the full set. Measures 4 15/16" x 3 9/16"
