Circa 1940-1959: Turquoise was added to the Harlequin tableware line in early 1940. The double egg cup was already in production and continued to be manufactured until 1959 and ambitious collectors can find try and assemble a full set of all twelve colors in the shape. Measuring nearly 4" tall and 3" wide, it was designed to be used from either end (the smaller for a hard boiled egg and the larger for a poached egg). The design is simpe with four concentric bands dressing up it's middle section and a slight bell shape on the smaller end. This example in the turquoise colored glaze is in excellent condition, without damage or signs of use and a great shiny glaze.
