Circa 1938-1941: The Harlequin double egg cup was one of the first 16 pieces released for the original line in 1936. Both ends were designed to be used, the smaller for hard boiled eggs and the larger for poached. Examples in the original "Harlequin Green" which we all know as spruce, were discontinued by 1941. This example is in excellent condition, without damage. Please note a small area of under the glaze darker spots along the rim which happened in the making from something at the factory. Otherwise no scratches or signs of use and a good example of the often pesky original Harlequin Spruce Green colored glaze. Measures 4" tall by 3" wide.
