Circa 1938-1940: Found in eight of the original Harlequin colors, the single egg cup is a novelty amoung the pottery line. One of the only pieces without the tell-tale decorated rings, the piece harkens to the plain-ware being produced simultaneously in the California solid-colored dinnerware lines. Made for a scant two years in the original Harlequin green (spruce) glaze, the single egg cup is not easy to find. This example is in excellent condition without damage or signs of use and is a very nice example of the sometimes pesky spruce green colored glaze.. Measures 2 1/2" tall.
