Circa 1936-1942: Stunning and unusual in form, the Fiesta carafe stands out among the crowd. Perhaps best suited for a water jug, the carafe holds three pints and is adorned with a hand applied finial and cork lid. The carafe is only found in the first six original colors and is hard to find, especially in excellent, undamaged condition. This example boasts a well cared for life with no damage, no repairs and no use. Please note a small area of glaze irregularity, typical of the early red glaze caused by firing temperature difficulties, found on the lower outisde edge near the spout. Discounted accordingly. The earliest mark adorns the bottom from the mold "fiesta HLC USA".
