Circa 1959-1969: The deep plate is also refered to as the soup bowl or rimmed soup bowl and sometimes pasta bowl. The deep plate was part of the fourteen additional items added within the first year of Fiesta potteries production. A very utilitarian piece, collectors will appreciate the sturdy quality of this piece which is found undamaged more than most pieces. Serving pasta or salad in the deep plate is a real treat at the dinner table. This example in medium green is ink stamped on the back and jiggered ring patterns adorn both the large overhanging edges and the center and outside bottom. Not a scratch on this deep plate and if you're a fan of the hard to find medium green this piece will make a great addition to your collection. Measures 8 3/8" w x 1 3/8"h
