Maxicana Sugar and Creamer Set on Yellowstone Shape with Southwest Decals and Red Stripe | Circa 1941-1943

Circa 1941-1943: Although similar to the Mexicana decal, the Max-i-cana decal has some added humanism with the addition of a sleeping figure in a large sombrero having a siesta against a cactus. A multitude of decorated pots adorn the foreground. Shown here on the captivating yellowstone Homer Laughlin shape. Both pieces are marked and are in excellent condition without damage or signs of use and just the very lightest of age showing to the bright hand painted red stripes. Nice and clean unique and hard to find set makes an excellent addition to the advanced collection.
