Circa 1939-1941: The Harlequin novelty creamer is basically a miniature version of the Harlequin ball jug, just with the band of concentric rings moved up from the base to the belly instead. One of the few pieces Homer Laughlin produced that could be considered a miniature. The novelty creamer is found in all twelve Harlequin colors. This example in original Harlequin maroon glaze is in excellent condition with no damage and a nice even glaze which is hard to find on this early Harlequin pottery. Measures 5" tall, x 5" wide.
