Circa 1936-1951: Like all of the plates, the deep plate is fully glazed and marked under the glaze with the "GENUINE fiesta HLCo USA" glaze stamp. Deep plates would have been placed by hand into the kilns and set on sagger stilts under the rim, leaving the three marks underneath where they sat touching the glaze. The Vintage Fiesta deep plate is the perfect bowl for so many things. Its wide rim, superbly decorated with bands of concentric rings, along with even more rings that decorate the bottom of the bowl both inside and out, make the simple deep plate a delight to use. This example in original Ivory is in excellent condition. Measures 8 1/2" wide from brim to brim and 1 1/2" tall.
