Circa 1936-1938: The water tumbler was also referred to simply as a "mug" by designer Frederick Rhead. The gentle flare and the excessive bands of concentric rings will delight the collector. Each mug had to have the outside concentric rings tooled by hand on the jiggering machine. This example is marked in the mold on the bottom, with the impressed "HLC fiesta MADE IN USA" and is in excellent condition. Measures 4 1/2"h x 3 1/2"w.
