Circa 1936-1948: THomer Laughlin's Old Ivory glaze was a staple across almost all of their pottery lines, from decalware, to striped decorations and even to round out the assortment in their solid color tableware lines. This example is unmarked, making it more likely that it was intended to go with the Riviera dinnerware line. It is discounted because of a few in the making, under the glaze manufacturing color spots (note the one on the backside of the handle). These factory flaws are just a testament to the hand craftsmanship of the era. Otherwise no chips or cracks or scratches or signs of use.
