Circa 1941-1951: The Harlequin demitasse cup and saucer was modeled by Arthur Kraft and logged as an A.D. (after dinner) cup. This delightful piece stands at 2" tall for the cup, 3/4" for the saucer height. Saucer is 5" wide and the cup is 2 3/4" wide. The A.D. set was not released until the fall of 1939 and the original green glaze (borrowed from the fiesta tableware line) was not introduced until 1941 and was discontinued ten years later. Ambitious collectors can hunt for all twelve colors in this shape, which was in production until 1959.
