Circa 1938-1948: The Riviera solid colored tableware line produced by Homer Laughlin throughout the 1930s and 1940s stayed relatively small with less than 20 items completing the collection. With so few pieces its easy to get excited over the pieces found in excellent, collector quality condition with wonderful glazes. This example of the large 9" wide round vegetable bowl in the original fiestaware green is an excellent example from the line. A gorgeous surface without scratches or signs of use is highlighted by the delicate scallopes and light weight feel of the piece. Measures 9" across.
