Circa 1951-1959: The round vegetable bowl was produced in two sizes, this being the smaller 8½" version along, both are indispensable on the dinner table! The 1950s fiestaware colors are slightly harder to find than many of the earlier pieces because sales were down and less was made as the famous fiesta line neared the end of it's first original production run. This example of the rich and bold dark forest green glaze is in very good condition with the insides showing no signs of use and no damage or chips to the rim or elsewhere. It is discounted 40% because of some light and hard to see exterior scratches that run around the underside belly of the bowl that must have been from it being stacked inside a smaller bowl. Very hard to notice on the dark green, possibly can be seen in the photos of the bottom. Marked in the mold on the bottom "fiesta MADE IN USA" and measuring a generous 8 1/2" wide by nearly 3" tall.
