Circa 1940-1942: The red glaze replaced maroon at the turn of the decade, but was shortly discontinued when the uranium used in its formula was recalled for WWII restrictions. This example is in excellent condition without damage, or signs of use. Please note one small glaze pop and the sheen of the early red glaze that can be slightly iridescent in certain angles - something to adore about the unique red glaze. Measures 4 3/8"h x 3 1/2"w.
