Circa 1940-1942: Found in eight of the original Harlequin colors, the single egg cup is a novelty amoung the pottery line. One of the only pieces without the tell-tale decorated rings, the piece harkens to the plainware being produced simultaneously in the California solid-colored dinnerware lines. Made for a scant two years in the Fiesta Red colored glaze, the single egg cup is not easy to find. This example is in very good condition without damage, please note there is a small factory bump under the glaze on one side, but is in otherwise better than average example of the vibrant red glaze. Measures 2 1/2" tall.
