Circa 1938-1951: The Vintage Fiesta disc shaped water pitcher with it's bands of rings, was introduced in the early spring of 1938. The disc water jug may well be the most famous shape from the vintage fiestaware line. After all, it was the fiesta piece chosen to represent the famous pottery line on our recent US postage stamp. Large, but not overwhelming, the Vintage Fiesta disc water pitcher holds 71 ounces. This example in the original vintage cobalt blue is in excellent shape with a great glaze coverage and no damage. Marked in the mold on the bottom with the embossed "fiesta MADE IN U.S.A.". Measures 7 1/2" tall x 8 3/4"w x 5"d.
