Circa 1936-1951: The second tallest piece in the original vintage fiestaware line, the breathtaking size makes a stunning addition to the collection. Made until 1951 in the wonderful cobalt color, the coffee pots labor intenstive hand craftsmanship would have included the knob being hand applied on the lid top, the bottom foot flared out by hand followed by the bands of rings etched into the foot by hand. Seam lines from the mold would have been smoothed by hand and then the final piece dipped into the magical glaze. This example is in excellent condition without damage or signs of use. Please note an in the making factory flaw on one small area of the finial that is fully glazed over and hard to see under the rich dark blue. Nicely marked on the bottom "fiesta HLCO USA". Measures 10 3/8"h x 8"w.
