Circa 1936-1951: The vintage fiesta AD coffee cup sets, with their perfectly proportioned stick handles and petite saucers, would have been used to serve an espresso like Turkish coffee, or perhaps a hot chocolate. The AD coffeepot could serve 8 demi cups. Made in ten of the eleven colors, assembling a set of AD cups and saucers brings a sense of joy and whimsy to the collection. This example in original cobalt blue is in excellent condition without damage. Cups measure 2 1/2" tall and saucers are 5 1/4" wide. Saucer is marked, but hard to see "GENUINE fiesta HLC USA".
