Circa 1936-1938: The rich, dark cobalt blue is one of the colors most prone to have scratches and use be most noticable. Glaze misses and irregularities can be unsightly, so it's especially nice to find superb examples, such as this early number 2 nesting bowl that looks as good as it did coming out of the factory 88 years ago! This example has the nice and crisp early mark, "fiesta HLCo Usa 2", and the inside bottom rings. This bowl is in excellent condition and shows no sign of use. Beautiful even and luxurious original cobalt blue glaze is pristine on this showcase example of the early #2 nesting bowl. Measures 5 7/8" w x 3 15/16h"
