Circa 1936-1951: It's surprising how much hand work went into even a bowl as seemingly basic as the 5 1/2" fruit bowl. Each bowl had the outside rings etched into the bowls on an individually operated jiggering machine. The ring patterns will slightly vary because of this. This version in the original cobalt blue glaze is in excellent condition with a nice clean glaze, wonderful even coverage with no damage or signs of use. Nicely marked and fully glazed on the bottom. Measures 5 9/16" wide by 1 3/4" tall.
