Circa 1937-1942: Homer Laughlin began producing Harlequin pottery in the late 30s for the Woolworth five and dime stores. The sugar bowl was the eighth piece designed for the relatively large line. This example of the Harlequin pottery sugar in original dark forest green glaze is in excellent condition, without damage or use. It's just wonderful to find the early sugar bowl with these inside rings and I'm sure you'll be thrilled to add this set to your Harlequin collection. Measures 4 1/4"h x 5 1/2w
