Circa 1951-1959: By the time the 1950s colors were released, the popular potteries sales had slowed. As a result far fewer pieces were produced. Not only that, but the expanded Harlequin line now had 4 bowls in production, so deep plates were made in less quantities than before. All these reasons make the '50s colors harder to find than one would think. That makes this example extra exciting with it's original 35 cent price stamp still on it's backside! Probably unused, this Harlequin deep plate is in excellent collector quality condition without signs of use or damage and an excellent application of the glaze. Unmarked as all original vintage Harlequin was. Measures 8 1/2" wide x 1 1/2" tall.
