Circa 1939-1943: Like the Fiesta juice promotional sets of the 1940s, Homer Laughlin promoted the Riviera line with a juice set premium. Starting in the summer of 1939, the juice sets were made until the end of 1943. The standard Homer Laughlin promotional juice set consisted of a juice pitcher and six tumbers. It gives me great pleasure to offer the complete set for sale in one fell swoop. Riviera being the smallest of the solid color tableware lines was produced in much smaller quantities so finding collector quality ensembles today is exceptionally rare. This set is in excellent condition with the turquoise and yellow tumblers exhibiting minor damage while all other pieces are in excellent, unused condition. Both the ivory and turquoise tumblers are rarer than the standard yellow, green, mauve blue and red, so it is a treat to have the whole complete set together. The yellow 6 3/4" tall Riviera juice pitcher boasts a beautiful glaze and the tumblers are nice and shiny. Unmarked, as was all Riviera.
