The ring handled mug, that has come to be known as the "Tom and Jerry" mug came in all eleven vintage colors. It's surprising that no other handled tumbers were released with the vintage fiesta line. There were of course the teacups and saucers, and the water and juice handless tumbers, Harlequin also had teacups and water tumblers, and the great handled cups used for the Riviera line, but only the ring handled Tom and Jerry mug was stamped Fiesta and accompanied the original vintage fiesta tableware line.

Vintage Riviera Handled Tumbler in Original Harleuqin Blue (mauve) »Circa 1938-1948: It's not often I refer to a piece of Homer Laughlin pottery as rare, but these Riviera pottery handled mugs truely fit the bill. They are becoming very hard to find and if you haven't built yourself a set of these for your collection, I recommend you snag them up while they can still be found. A great piece of pottery from the Riviera line. Cups would have been slip cast with the handle attatched by hand. This example in green is in excellent condition without damage. For Sale: $145 |
