Circa March 1936- Late 1936: Produced for a scant six months and never appearing in any catalogues, the vintage Fiesta cake plate is a treasure to find. Even more delightful is finding one, such as this, wihtout any use to it's smooth and completely flat front surface. Unmarked on the back, but adorned with an absurd abundance of hand tooled concentric rings, it is here, on the cake plate that the workmanship and hand crafting of the 1930s is found. You will not find the vintage fiesta cake plate in turquoise as they were only produced for a scant six months. Finding any at all is a rare treat and the cake plate from the Fiesta pottery line is a highly coveted item. This rare cake plate is very nice condition. The endless abundance of concentric rings adorn the entire backside, which does have the usual glaze variations. If the cake plate has been eluding you or you're looking to add to your collection, this piece is guaranteed to please. Measures 10 3/8" x 5/8"
