Circa 1936-1944: Unlike any other piece in the Riviera pottery line, the batter jug towers above all the other dinnerware and is a delight to add to the collection. Found usually in the original Fiesta green glaze, rarely examples in ivory, red, yellow and mauve appear, but for some reason without lids. Paired with the syrup and set upon a 13" batter tray, the ensemble is complete and one of the cornerstones of the potteries line is formed. This example in the original green glaze is in excellent condition without any signs of use. Please note a few areas of glaze unevenness, but altogether it's a delight to find the delicate lid and spout and base all in perfect collector quality condition.
