Circa 1936: Three Piece Set— After a four year wait, we were finally able to pull some original Vintage Fiesta
red stripe pieces out of the wild. Even more spectacular is to find that this is a trial set with all three pieces marked F100 (the series Homer Laughlin used to distinguish their striped sets). To find any Vintage Fiesta
original red stripe is challenging, but to find the trial pieces is nearly unheard of because of their incredible rarity. The flat bottomed sugar and stick handled creamer let us date this set to early in the pottery's history. The luster glaze, hand painted mark "F100" is found under the sugar bowl lid and on the underside of the sugar and creamer bases as well. This set has no touchups or repairs and no repainting or enhancing of the hand painted red stripes. The finial of the sugar bowl has two small restorable dings and a shallow chip under the rim of the lid. The sugar bowl base is without damage. The stick handled creamer, too, is miraculously undamaged. It is a true delight to be able to offer these recently acquired historically important red stripe fiesta pieces to the collecting community.
