Circa 1936-1946: One of the great pieces of the fiesta pottery line, the 12" footed comport crosses over from dinnerware to art pottery when used on the table. Slip cast foot would have been hand joined and the rings tooled in on a jiggering machine. Measures 12 1/2" wide, 3 1/2" tall. This example in the original green glaze is in excellent condition, with a great surface that shows no abuse and no chips or damage or touch-ups and repairs. Stamped on the bottom "14", which would have been the quality controllers inspection number.
