Circa 1940-1959: Sometimes reffered to as the "ball jug". This pattern was probably based on a Hall China piece made nearby in East Liverpool, Ohio. The Hall jug is slightly smaller and is readily confused as Fiesta pottery. The Harlequin ball jug is a fabulous piece with its distinctive, trademark rings around the base. It was made in all twelve harlequin colors. Standing at 7 1/4" x 8 1/2" wide this turquoise Harlequin water pitcher is in excellent condition without any mentionable flaws or damage. This piece has a dry, wiped, base where it was shelf loaded into the kilns. Wonderful glaze on this piece which will make a great addition to your Harlequin or Fiesta collection.
